Do we still have divided powers of government?
We are supposed to have the power to make laws vested in the Congress, the management of the country vested in the Executive branch, and the mediator of conflicts vested in the Supreme Court. But the Congress has become an executive power by creating agencies with rule making powers that have the effect of law, and the Executive branch has been issuing Executive Orders with the same effect as law, and the Judicial has stretched the meaning of the Constitution into areas never intended by the Founders.
The President has continuously lied to us according to what he thinks would be most politically beneficial to him; the Congress has acted to perpetuate itself as a profession instead of a citizen legislature as originally envisioned; and I am at a loss to understand why the judicial doesn’t seem to think it should interpret the law as written instead of as they think it should be.
The Founders wrote the Constitution with the frailties of man in mind, and then charged the future generations to educate themselves and vote for freedom. They were well aware that human nature was such that if men of less than moral, religious, and good character became “We, the people” the Republic would fail. We are teetering on the edge of collapse as entitlements are becoming the norm. What has happened to hard work and self reliance? What has happened to religion? What has happened to personal integrity?
The agenda for discussion at the next meeting will be as follows. If we run out of time we will continue the following month.
A) Legislative Session – Discussion of upcoming items.
B) Term Limits – Pro & Con. The founders of our Constitution did not envision it being in the hands of professional politicians.
C) Petition to have Michael Bennett removed as County Attorney? Pro & Con. Express your opinion.

Dear Republican Friends,
The Republican Women of Fremont County PAC will be sponsoring our annual FUNdraiser on March 15 with the theme “MARDI GRAS”! Food, Fun, and Funds for Republicans.” Please come and join us!
The caterer this year is Wyoming Catholic College Catering. Their head chef served the athletes at the Beijing Olympics and presents his food in an appealing, appetizing manner. New this year is a dessert auction during dinner so you can top off your cuisine with a delectable sweet.
A single ticket may be purchased for $30, a pair of tickets $60, or better yet, consider spending $100 for special Gold Bead tickets and really make an impact for the Fremont County Republicans. If you have a person under 18 coming, the ticket will be $18.
Tickets may be purchased by contacting any of the Republican women or sending your check* made out to RWFCPAC c/o Sarah Kalbach, 208 E. Main Street, Riverton WY 82501
We also are asking for donations to our live, silent and dessert auctions.
Do you have a Delectable Dessert that you’d like to showcase? Contact Helen Higby at 307-332-5441 or hhigby@bresnan.net
Do you have Republican or Main Street Wyoming, or other item to donate for auction? Contact Tara Berg at 307-332-3420 or taramberg@yahoo.com
Our Republican County Convention will be held on March 15 as well. Any elected officials or candidates who would like to address either the convention or the dinner, please contact Darlene Vaughan, County Chair at popoagieranch@hotmail.com or 307-332-7261. We are doing Street Corner Soapbox Speeches (yes, real soapboxes). There will be a time limit. You may drop into the convention at any time, but we would appreciate you being part of the entire Mardi Gras evening.
Thanks and hope to see you on March 15.
*We are not allowed to take checks or items from businesses according to regulations for political entities. Any item or donation must come from individuals. No business checks please.
What is scary about Obama is that he really believes he is doing the right thing. Results are not the goal liberal/Democrat/socialists strive for. Their only goal is have government redistribute wealth until everybody has the same size piece of the pie whether they work for it or not. The harder YOU work the MORE earnings you will have for GOVERNMENT to distribute.
YOUR VOTE COUNTS, and you have an obligation to talk to your friends, relatives and neighbors about their vote.
Google Joseph Plum Martin, and then tell us whether or not you are a patriot.
Republican women of Fremont County will meet at the Bull Monday at noon.
Our guest speaker this week will be Patrick Le Brun candidate for Fremont County Attorney.
Come hear from the candidates for Wyoming Secretary of State!
The following candidates will be there:
Republican Party
Clark Stith
Ed Buchanan
Ed Murray
Constitution Party
Jennifer Young
We will begin at Noon with Candidate presentations from
Mark Stone, Candidate for Fremont County Sheriff & Dominick Weigel Candidate for Fremont County Coroner.
These will be followed by a short business meeting.
The agenda for discussion will be as follows. If we run out of time we will continue at the July meeting.
A) Candidates to give presentations followed by Q&A
1. Sheriff – Skip Hornecker, Mark Stone
2. State Senator – Cale Case
3. Representative – Pat Moore
4. Governor – Cindy Hill
B) Set the date for the July meeting because of the 4th weekend.
The designers of our Constitution expected us to have educated voters that would elect representatives that were religious, moral, and of good character, and that political life would not become their profession. They understood human nature and only feared our failure to fulfill our obligation to FREEDOM. Why did we elect a Community Organizer and so many others that do not believe in the American way?
